01295 250943The UFH Solutions Ltd OPTI-PLATE system is perfect for suspended timber floors.
The OPTI-PLATE system comprises aluminium plates spanning joists or battens. The plates are pre-grooved to house the pipework neatly and the nature of the material allows the heat to conduct evenly. The floor deck can then be mechanically fixed directly above the plates.
We advise that insulation board is installed beneath the plate, between the joists/battens to help prevent the downward passage of heat, prevent air gaps and to encourage the heat to rise effectively throughout the floor.
